MA, LPC, NCC
Taking that first step into treatment can cause a lot of anxiety and fear. It is a brave thing to take that leap and ask for help. It is important to me that as you seek treatment and are vulnerable that I create an environment that feels warm, non-judgmental, and healing. I entered the field after graduating from the College of New Jersey in 2014. Since graduating I have worked with a wide population between my work in ICMS, co-occurring disorders, and Women's Trauma Program. Throughout my work I have helped many clients who are struggling with issues related to PTSD, feeling trapped, low self-worth, impulsive behaviors, and feeling desperate to find a way for things to be different. I love and feel very thankful that I am able to touch people's lives and help them make the difference that they seek.
I hold a LPC license with the state of New Jersey, am a Nationally Certificed Counselor - NCC, am foundationally trained in dialectical behavioral therapy by Dr. Essie Larson, and received intensive training in Prolonged Exposure Treatment for PTSD within the DBT model with Dr. Melanie Harned, who created the treatment.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time being active! I like running races and competing in Spartan run challenges. I like to spend time with my family, watch reality TV, and knitting with my two cats.
